Hawknut, that's a pretty bad essay. Hitler was a Christian by any normal sense of the word, and this guy tries to redefine it as his own version of the "tradition of mainstream Christianity" so that his camp is not stuck with Hitler.

He believed in God, he believed in Jesus as saviour, and I assume he believed in salvation. The fact that he was against the Church and ITS traditions has no bearing on this issue.
