» _Boanerges_ - The ringed Lord!
I like the title of your article ingrast. (smile)Fascinating article! I remember watching Cassini lifting off and all the people discussing the potential for environmental problems if something went wrong. It seemed those scientists were just as worried, yet with confidence of their long and well deserved work. I imagine today those skeptics aren't saying much considering all the fantastic pictures and information that will soon be coming from that kewl little instrument we humans sent to the outer edges!... An achievment for mankind in my opinion! Saturn is indeed intriguing...
A great article, once again ingrast!.. I truly do enjoy your articles!

It is a sad thing the issue got heated up being both sides endowed with valid arguments.
NASA was right in its numbers, but probably overconfident. The fact nothing happened does not prove it safe, witness Challenger and Columbia.
The doomsday activists did their part clouding the real issues with exaggerations that prevented a serious dialoge too.
