Middle school was the worst. I am so glad we are beyond that. High school is turning out to be so much better than middle school. The teachers in middle school -- in fact, the whole concept of middle school -- were awful for my son with AS!

Last year or actually two years ago, before i know what aspergers was, i told the social worker at school that i had it and asked her what it was, she said she had no idea . This lady is the one who works with all of the people that have emotional problems and helps get kids out of family situations. After i looked it up online and found out it was a form of high functioning autism i was shocke dthat some one like her would have no idea of what it was or never heard of it
