Pearl Shakes...fad or to stay?: just wondering

I noticed most visitors are led to the recipes of pearl shakes. I guess a lot have been hooked on sipping and guzzling those delights...do you think you will be sipping those concoctions and eating those pearls three years from now or is it back to sodas and the other thingss one drinks.
