» Barbara Bell - I can relate!

It's a good thing, however, that your topic isn't in the Gardening section, Joe! But my backyard has a similar quality of unkempt wildness. The grass doesn't grow much in the deep shade under the towering pines and maples around the perimeter. So it never needs mowing. The plants I once planted so hopefully have died, and I no longer try. There's a bench where I sit while the dog runs around in circles barking at the squirrels. That's it. Not much to look at.

But I enjoy the peacefulness and the sunlight barely filtering through the tall branches. It's a nice place to sit and think...about nothing much.
