» Renie_Burghardt - Christmas Across Arkansas
Hi Bertha, I enjoyed the article and beautiful graphics. I can attest to Jonesboro being beautifully lit up, as I always do some Christmas shopping there. I'd love to be able to visit Eureka Springs at this time of the year, and maybe one year, I will get there. Cherokee Village, which is near me, is always a magical place at this time of the year, and we drive through every year. Thanks for another great article. Hope you're enjoying our beautiful weather! Take care. Renie-- posted by Renie_Burghardt
» Red - awesome...
Bert, the graphics in you article are awesome. I would love to visit Arkansas at this time of year and tour the cities and small towns to see all of these beautiful lights. Hope one day we can come.Niagara Falls always has a great light show at this time of year, as does Toronto and the little town of Simcoe, ON. If Barry and Michelle can't take the boys to see the lights at Simcoe this year, I am going to. There is a beautiful park there that they have been lighting up for years. Dad used to take us every year and now I want to make it a tradition for the boys. There are thousands of lights in that park, surrounding a little brook that runs through it.
Owen Sound is also doing a big light show this year. It is 2 hours north of us on Lake Superior. It would be beautiful.
Take care, my friend and keep up the good work.

In response to message posted by Italkr2:Hi Sue, so glad you droped by. I bet you had a grand time in Texas. Yeah, wish you could have waited a few weeks longer but I sure understand wanting to get back home before the bad winter sets in. Although if winter is a mild at your northern home as it is here at my southern home we won't have to worry about winter. It was 80 degrees today. Sure don't seem like December. Oh well, shouldn't gripe, the heating bill will be cheap. Hugs...

In response to message posted by Renie_Burghardt:Hi Renie, I've always wanted to visit Branson at Christmas. I've been told it is breathtaking up there at Christmas. Maybe someday.
The weather is uncanny...can't believe it was 80 degrees today. They said it broke the record. I think we can relate to Christmas in the deep south with weather like this. Kinda miss the cold wind. Thanks for coming by...hugs
