There is a story behind the dress. The neighbor lady who made it for me had six sons! She always wanted a little girl, and since I was the only little girl in the area, I sort of became her 'daughter.' She made other things for me, too, like doll clothes. That sack dress was very special, and I thought it was so pretty!

Just thought you might like to know the 'rest of the story.' hehe. smile
