Hi Bertha, sorry I'm a bit late, but my provider was having some phone line work down, so no Internet since Monday!

What a lovely, nostalgic article, and I love the photos. Many old-timers have great memories of those feed sacks, and I've heard stories about them. Yep, couldn't make much of anything out of todays feed sacks, but they make good fire starters with kindlin for the woods stove! Wonderful article, Bertha. I enjoyed it. And yes, it's still warm for this time of the year, isn't it? I guess deer hunters are having an easier time of it. Hope you're doing great. Take care. Renie
