» BlueHue - Previous bad experiences with Water"Table"dams in Egypt

The Aswan Highdam planned in 196(1) by a German Firm was to safeguard waterflow from a white bottomed Lake otherwise evaporating rather than soaking the Mud=Banks; it now turns out that thePermanent Soaked narrow greenBankStrip
is evaporating too but by capilar-lift saltis Cristalising at the surface were it did not before
swome of this brought-up"floating"saltcrystal is settling as "Salt-Dust"on the foundationstones of near river Temples and etching the ages old:"Patina"this may be a Boaring Story without adventural "enlightment" but that's all I say for now Bye bye. I just remembered what I wanted to say an even better place to make a Riverdam is a gorge that is grander and wider than as Aswan;
namely at Wadi Halfa the Ancient Nile had carved a far deeper and wider canyon sure to contain more
water than Lake Nasser, but there were no Grand Monuments there to be preserved by other nations Like the Soviet Union which virtually paid for the Whole DamProject as a Gift of the Soviet-People/russian Nation to the (then)Egypt!
Recently however also in the shallow sloughs of the socalled ancient Oasis-Nile courses as: AlFara
alBahariya etc. Mummies in Goldleaf have been found that were aready pilfered from the Greater Riverside Temples thes would have been lost if in
196(1) the German engineers had develloped the greater rivercanyions so every Cloud has a Silver
Lining! That's it Folkes, by the way I praise the Housewifes that find intrest in bringing Egyptology to the common People and Children otherwise barred from professional Ancient-Egypt Litterature.although those women an a few men tend to view these "sinful publications" as a passing Hobby but so be it! Luck has it that they also bring along "Links" to other Pasttime Egyptological Websites and maybe another or theFirst Encyclopaedia of ancient Egypt on a Single CDROM. "keep up that good Litterary work"!
Digging in the Sand at the Bases of Pyramids is only for the real/reel loonies, who are finaanced by Movie companies although:Surching fot the Lost Ark was great everybody is complaining that Bruce Boxleitner and Harrison Ford should have made mor"Indiana-Jones Pictures that way but Luck has it that the Cartoonists have taken over Indiana in France!
