» TvBabe - One of my favorite authors

Jennifer thank you for such a delightful romp with a master of words! I have been a big fan of Mr Cussler's books for years.

I'm really looking forward to "Valhalla Rising" and of course his usual "Hitchcock like" reference to himself in his book smile hmmmm wonder if he will be a New York cabbie this time!

Hello Jennifer,

I'm so glad I stopped by! I'm embarrassed to say this, but I have never read one of Mr Cussler's books. However, I am adding his name to my list library list. Within the next two weeks, I won't have to be embarrassed! You have piqued my curiosity and my interest with this wonderful interview. Thank you.

Tina

» Barbara Bell - Also a fan!

My new husband (then-fiance) introduced me to Clive Cussler's books a year ago, as we flew long flights between Anchorage and New York. Now I am a fan as much as my husband.

Thanks for the great interview, Jennifer!

Great interview with an exceptional author. Apprecitate the additional information about the underwater research. Fascinating!

It wasn't until I read the interview Jennifer that the name 'Dirk Pitt' rang my bells! When my husband came over from the USA and proposed, he had a Clive Cussler novel, starring Dirk Pitt, with him to read.

When he was still reading it two days later (he hadn't proposed yet), I thought I'd better see what all the fuss was about, and although my husband and I have totally different reading tastes, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

So glad to hear everyone has enjoyed this article. There was so much more information I could have included it was hard to stop writing. I was very excited to actually get an interview with Clive Cussler and he turned out to be a very engaging person. SOOOO many stories, so little time. By the way, I understand he does once again make an appearance in Valhalla Rising, but I couldn't even begin to tell you what role the mysterious man will take on this time. Anyway, thanks to everyone for the compliments.
Best,
Jenny
