The myths surrounding Hassan Fathy acheivements

Reading hasten Fathy's words, and looking at his buildings indicates that he had a number of missunderstandings aboutbuilding with earth particularly domes and vaults,in fact his contribution was to get some masons to build some examples.and to make the examples known
But His descriptions/interpretations of their work has caused and still causes problems in the adoption of truly wonderful techniques.
I will be deliberately provocative.
Has anyone ever manage to build a Nubian vault as described by Fathy?
Who can point to any person or organization who can use sun dried adobe bricks to.

1. teach and build H Fathy type buildings which can resist rain?

2. reliably teach and build Nubian vaults?

Is there anywhere in the world where Dome and vault earth brick buildings techniques are in the hands of the people and are becoming the norm. Somewhere where they have been adapted to local styles, function, climate and the needs of the rich to the poor.
