The Art of CalligraphyRead the article this discussion is about

» Kirk_Johnson - Design All of the design arts are related to each other. I don't know enough about caligraphy to relate it to architecture. I could relate painting and sculpture to architecture. Maybe you should think about how caligraphy relates to drawing and painting, including abstract art. That might stimulate your brain.-- posted by Kirk_Johnson » AliaHas - calligraphy and architecture Noaman,Thats a difficult question and one I'm not really capable of answering. You might explore the rules that govern good calligraphy design and compare that to rules for good architectural design. I know much more about architecture than calligraphy so you might want to pose the question to someone who knows about both. Try emailing Mamoun Sakkal who is a practicing architect as well as award winning calligraphy artist. He would have much better insight on this. His website is http://www.sakkal.com/ Good luck, -- posted by AliaHas » sadaf24 - Re: architecture and calligraphy.
