Does anyone know of any books that provide a comprehensive study of Arab (or more specifically Muslim) immigration to the United States.

Sure, here is an excellent book, Roush

Enjoy!

It is not easy to find a book dealing with the subject you want.I have the same interest but I don't live in USA but i have to use other sources such as local newspapers,Schools,Business community, birth and death registry and many. They are first sources. You can not ignore them.So don't worry about other books written in this subject.Find for yourself.

I would love to help you find books on what you are looking for. Please e mail me at M22khateeb@aol.com and I would like to know more about what you are looking for. But, Edward W. Said the author of "Out of Place" is a great book that talks about Palestinian culture and history. Said is a professor at Columbia in New York and is a wonderful writer.
