Hank,Talk about playing it safe! But your wife's gamble seems to have paid off since the two of you are still married, and, I assume, still roommates.
Regina, you made some excellent points about things to consider about choosing a roommate...and maybe, as Hank pointed out, the same points could be used as determining factors in choosing a mate.

One major factor involves what will he or she be like in another 20 years. The person you marry today might be vastly different from the one you want to hang on to ten years down the road. I was lucky this time. Thirty-two years and still counting.
