» Jaynee - I love snowglobes! I'm delighted that you wrote about collecting snowglobes. I started collecting these a few years ago, and my friends and family have given me some wonderful snowglobes in the past few years. My friend Mary gave me a beautiful large snowglobes with wolves in it. My father has given me two great snowglobes: One of Broadway in NYC and one of the Washington DC monuments. And my sister gave me a wonderful snowglobe depicting Christ's birth.I also have kitschy ones, including two snowglobes reflecting scenes from the movie "Fargo". Snowglobes are wonderful collectibles because they tell stories. You say in your article that the Y2K snowglobe is very special - and you are right. In 50 years they will laugh at our concern about such a non-event!! Great articles...thanks! -- posted by Jaynee » Barbara Bell - Thanks, Jane! Thanks, Jane! There's a great new snowglobe this year, which enables you to insert photos - I received one with a picture of my granddaughter for Christmas. What a cool gift!-- posted by Barbara Bell » emmawhitestone - snowglobe with Viet Nam Veterans Wall inside Can anyone help me find a snowglobe with the Viet Nam Veteran's Wall inside? Or know of anyone who can make one? I would like to give one to a combat vet for a gift. Snowglobes I also love snowglobes! How many have you managed to collect and how long have you all been collecting? Does anyone know if there is a snowglobe with a Boyds Bear Christmas scene inside? I have not seen or heard if they have anything like this or not.-- posted by charlotteb303
