Thanks for this vivid and inspirational piece. Organization is not always the rule when being an artist! But cigarette butts? I'd have to clean up if it were me.

His bird art is beautiful.

The weird thing is Jerri that he was at a loss to understand why his paintings were always so dusty! It's almost the cliche of artists having their heads in the clouds.

Well I'm off to dust round the A4 size space on the table which constitutes my studio!

His art work is beautiful, birds make a diverse subject. I think a lot of artists hate the have their studios cleaned up. Picasso was the same way I understand from what I've read about him.

I wonder if it's a male thing? All the women artists I know can't really settle until their housework is done but then maybe that's a form of procrastination. It's amazing how vacuming takes on a profound significance when you have a painting that won't go right!
