- Verse 6
Have you any advice as to how one can keep the anger from rising and the language from responding in the same tone as to that received and sometimes even to just loosing it when baited. This is proving a major stumbling block to me just now.

In response to message posted by Alcock: Take a deep breath and drop your sound volume by one or two steps. This will. 1. Give you the inner strength to overcome your anger. 2. Momentarily confuse your antagonist. They may drop their animosity and review their position. When you lower your voice volume (i.e. speak softly), you also unconsciously lower your voice pitch (key) which becomes more pleasant to hear. the listener has to strain to hear you and may let go of their stubbornness To your audience, you come across as cool, in-control and pleasant. The explosive atmosphere will be defused, not unlike the effect of an icy puff of fire extinguisher.
