Interesting article! Learned and enjoyed. So many unanswered questions. Will they ever be answered. Maybe. Chris Newman ( editor Sociology) has found a site called Operation Hermes. Have you seen it? http://www.in-ter.com/Hermes/intro.htm
If so,what do you think?

Brian Carpenter A book exists that gives , in my opinion, a very good explanation of how the great pyramaid was constructed. Have you heard of it? I do not have the exact title off hand, but I think the writer's name was Joseph Davidovits. I will try to get more info to you when I find my copy, as I recall it proposed a very simple explanation which even included Herodotus' figures.

» Kat - How the Pyramids Were Built

I would have to say that the most amazing feat accomplished was the accuracy of the pyramids. It's quite astonishing. North Side: 755' 4.9818" in length, West Side: 755' 9.1551", East Side: 755' 10.4937", South Side: 756' .09739". An error of less than 8" from it's longest to the shortest sides. And the near perfect 90degree angles: SE corner: 89degrees 56minutes 27seconds -- NE corner: 90degrees 03minutes 02seconds -- SW corner: 90degrees 00minutes 33seconds -- NW corner: 89degrees 59minutes 58seconds. The use of pi in the base to hieght ratio? Remarkable. The hallways connecting chambers were not carved out, yet accounted for and built along with the layers of the pyramid itself. It was literally built from the ground up, and finished at the top, other than the casting stones. Completely remarkable eh?
