» mule - coments from the consumer

there seems to be lots of doom and glumm about the emulation issue, and for the most part I agree with the above artical, that its not that bad! I'd just like to make a some points about the recent comments doing the rounds.

The amiga community seems to be all developers that are woryed about there buisenes be for they worry about customer satisfaction! Now I admit that times are hard and that the comments from Hyperion seem valid (from one side) but the other side suggests that if your amiga versions of a game are better or offer somthing more than the MS native ones, then you will still sell them. Seems to me that the only way to improve market share in the amiga area is to make it run on any thing, maybe amiga are doing things a bit backwards and every thing should be running on top of AmigaDE. to use the VP code to do the EMU.

what if there was a version of warpOS for Amithlon that ment that any programs for PPC could be just re compiled to work on the x86, or x86 OS 4.x etc.

To be honest I am not interested in an A1 1200 simply because you are restricted to using it with a 1200, I have a 4000 and I alredy have a 700Mhz PC that I would Kill to run amiga stuff on!

And to say that there is no Apps for an emulated amiga is wrong! Miami MakeCD (developed on UAE) Yam ImageFX and the list gose on...
