» flower51 - Linda Grimes on Emily Dickinson

Hello-
I'm a new poet here and I just read the analysis of Dickinson's poem. I'm fascinated by how pain operates in her work- how she is at once victim & minister to the way it eats a person up. How she could find the exact nuance in a specific kind of pain & lay it out there for us without ever revealing the cause-or her private catalysts! Those exteme psychic states are also interesting in what they do to the concept of time, up-ending and eradicating it. Well, that's my two cents-compliments to you, Linda.
