Hi Sue,

As an admirer of Kabir, I certainly see what you mean in your analysis. I have not read very much of Bly's translation though I studied his own poetry in college and liked him somewhat.

I do like his contributions to men's consciousness.

Thaks for elucidating this aspect of Bly for me. I certainly respect the works of Tagore and Kabir.
