The class I took barely touched on Plath's (and other female) works, so I learn on my own, with some guidance sometimes.I did not know Hughes' second wife killed their child also. (Egads!) It is a morbid curiosity we gain, delving into Plath's work (similar to Poe). It equals tragic personality one can merely imagine. I should say I haven't read Hughes yet.
