This was so incredibly well-written. Although I haven't seen Freeway II, I'm a big fan of Freeway and I think you're right on target with everything you said about it.

I see from your profile that you like Atom Egoyan, who is my all time fav, (although Hal Hartley is a close second). Have you reviewed any of his movies? How about "Felicia's Journey"? I just bought that and I loved it.

I am a huge Atom Egoyan fan, though I wasn't as into FELICIA'S JOURNEY as his other projects. Unfortunately, since he's a Canadian filmmaker, I cannot review his movies for this American Independent Films column. I have no reviews currently available of his films online, but keep your eyes and search engines open. They may reappear at some point in the relatively near future.
