Outhwaite, Ida Rentoul.
The Little Green Road to Fairyland with Annie R. Rentoul [sister].
London: A. & C. Black Ltd., 1922. First edition; deluxe binding. 4to. White buckram with gold lettering and green decorations and vignette on front covers. Some soiling, especially to spine and light foxing to preliminary page. This is the binding of the deluxe edition but without the limitation page. Eight full page color plates and eight full page black & white plates for this excursion into the world of imagination. The book was a collaboration between the scholarly Annie and the artistic Ida. I have always found Ida's black & whites to be striking and this fine edition uses a fine coated paper that permits the glory to emerge and be appreciated. First Edition
