Have done for me. That one is Calochortus uniflorus and it has grown and multiplied quite happily with little (read NO) care. Hot and dry in summer (I knocked out of pots in summer then repotted in winter) and grows happily. Just coming into bud now mostly.... this one is the first to flower.
