» JessieJ - yellow

I like the yellow ones better than the dull orange ones.
When did you put the orange ones in your article?
Does glenbrook sell both forms?

Gary attached a pic of my L canadense taken a couple of years ago. God only knows where I got the idea that it was yellow from ??? Guess it is yellowish on the inside of the bloom. cheers Mary

Mary,

One of mine is similar to this, with another having a yellow and orange striping to the back of some of the petals. Both have a distinctly yellow interior.

The other "editorum' variety that i got today was jsut a solid orange, without the yellow inside. Spotting the same etc. Most disappointing that it wasn't red.

Gary,

Beautiful yellow canadense!!! Hoping to see one of those advertised in a catalogue at some point in the future when I can actually afford to buy it (although I must admit that it would probably be the first thing I'd order if it was in the catalogue anyway.... unless there were interesting Frits, or Galanthus, or...... smile.

RoundRob... THanks for showing the editorum. Definitely NOT what I have. Love that Red.

Still trying to sort down my order from Glenbrook as I can't afford much. Will have to ask them about a replacement for the editorum as it was wrong. Good timing that their catalogue arrived on Friday. Like all of you, I try to send off immediately but in this case it is taking me longer to work out what I can actually justify spending our non-existent money on smile smile smile).
