Great images Paul. The little ones you sent me are starting to do things smile Unfortunately the rats or ??? paid a visit and dug everything out a few times. Came out a few mornings running and there was the corms sitting all pulled out on the top of the pots but they seem to be ok thank goodness. One of the C intaminatum has sent up one tiny leaf so at least one is going to be ok and C cilicium was the most attacked but it is looking just fine. My C balearicum corm from Glenbrook was unearthed and a bite taken out of its side poor thing so hope it will be oksad fortunately whatever it was didnt like the taste so it lived to see another day (the corm that is) If I could catch the critter in the act it would be another story !!!

Mary,

I am so thankful that we don't have your critters over here in my garden. We have a heap of Cyclamen in flower in the garden at the moment..... hederifolium, cilicicum album, mirabile, intaminatum, africanum, purpurascens and graecum all in flower right now which makes a wonderful display. There are coums sending up leaves all over the place as well which is pretty early, but given the seasons we've had in the last year nothing surprises me now.

Glad to see some movement up here on the Suite. Took me a while to work out where the "new" page was as they've shifted the link from the main page now. Another fine produce from B..tards Incorporated!! (A reference to an old comedy show that used to be on..... with adverts for dodgy products.) smile

Why are they trying to make things as difficult as possible to use here now?

Cyclamen 'Sierra' are mainly grown for their marbled foliage. I don't believe they go dormant here. They are usually sold in tubes or in trays.Salome what name was on the label???

Hey Salome,

A lot of the big florist cyclamen that you buy in nurseries and the like don't go dormant if they're happy. It depends on the variety. Also some of the species such as Cyclamen purpurascens are evergreen so they never lose their leaves. What does it look like? How big is the plant and the flowers? That might help.
