» danwilson - SA Oxalis Hi allIm an Oxalis enthusiast from Cape Town, South Africa and Im looking to start a good sized collection. In the past I have grown quite a few species in pots (all South African) from bulbs - O.obtusa,O. flava, O namaquana,O. hirta, O. glabra, O.luteola, O. versicolor, O. polyphylla var. pentaphylla, O.livida, O.commutata, O. tomentosa, O. argyrophylla etc. (not including the common weedy species which grow on my lawn - O. pes-caprae, O. caprina, O.purpurea (incl. white form). I would be happy to trade seed and bulbs with interested people although Im not sure what the international rules re. this are? The annual Kirstenbosch plant sale here in Cape Town generally has a good selection of local oxalis bulbs on offer (and getting better every year!). Anyway, Id be interested to hear from other keen people!!! Cheers Dan Cape Town South Africa -- posted by danwilson
