» RomaineU - Thanks! I should have found your page sooner.... Gay did help me identify a plant commonly called a "picotee". My Grandmother used to grow them in the 1920s and I had been trying to find out what they were. Gay came up with the name 'Mrs Sinkins' Pink. I see you have these listed.Norgate Seeds in Victoria have seeds available by mail order. Do you think this would be a good way to grow these dianthus or would I have more success buying a plant? -- posted by RomaineU » Gary - seeds verses plants Hi Romaine,I have not bought seed from these folks. Border Gateway Bulbs also have some dianthus, so ask Dirk and Shayne. mailto:bgbulbs@hotkey.net.au Just for the record, folks I recommend to buy from have no financial ties with me. I recommend them because I am their customer, and have found these folks the best to buy from, both is sound healthy product and modest price. cheers, -- posted by Gary
