» Gary - Cypella by night

This photo is poor because I don't have software, it is of cypella hauthali ssp. opalina flowering in the middle of the night, generally they close at night.

Gary without time to look at software.

» Gary - Sorry Liz ,but could you share with us...........

Hi Liz,
could you share with us about the two Cypellas you have, the blue one out the front, and the about to flower for the first time, yellow one up the back.......

Get used to talking, once you are on the Open Garden Scheme, there will be lots of folks asking.

So, please talk, and tell us about your goodies...

» Gary - Cypella Bulbs

Greetings to you Jon,

The closest person to you would be Cad's Garden Centre, contact Leo Cady on(02) 4232 2188; he is in Kiama.

Also, contact Garry Reid; Mistydown Bulbs might have them also.

Rob, of Glenbrook Bulb Farm has them also.

If Liz Kerr ever came online and talked here she would be able to suggest other sources, like Forest Bulbs but as I'm not allowered to mention this until she does; my hands are sat upon, lol.

Liz, it is time to come out of your shell, lol, and tell the folks about Forest Bulbs.

Liz, will you ever talk to me again after this?

Gary the bold.

» Liz__OZ - Re: Cypella

I will have bulbs of Cypella coelestis and Cypella herbertii for sale next year if anyone is interested.

C. coelestris is primarily blue and the flowers are about 7 cm across. C. herbertii is smaller, the flowers are orange and it flowers constantly during summer.

» rhonda - Liz

Liz, are you one of Garys women, the one in the white car he got the cats from or the book lady.
Do you sell plants as well as cats/books?

It is about time we had a plant seller in Geelong.
What plants do you have for sale.?
By the way Gary, you are due for a haircut, the salon is very busy at the moment, you might have to book a couple of days in advance or you can come round when I close for tea and a haircut.
Can you bring me a list of plants Liz will have for sale?

rhonda. always needing plants to buy.

» JBoustead - Hi Gary

Hi Gary,
Only got Leos answering machine, so no joy there; people shouldn't leave just an answering machine on to fend calls, I am too busy to hang around waiting for him to ring back.
Have written to Glenbrook Bulb Farm.

Liz, what other bulbs do you have now for sale.??
Thanks to Gary, megger thanks for the fifteen different Hamantheaus you sent me, thanks to Gary I'm really keen to begin collecting bulbs.
Several of the hamanthus have buds on stems coming.
Liz, do you have a price list?
Are you Forest Bulbs?

Jon.

» Gary - Violet anthers

Greetings Liz,

HELLO from your description:
C.coelestris is primarily blue and the flowers are about 7 cm across. C. herbertii is smaller, the flowers are orange and it flowers constantly during summer.

There is no mention of the stunning Violet anthers on Cypella Coelestris.

LOL, for a botanist, this description isn't very warm and informative.

It's not a big ask, but could you please share with us all the name and the description of the Cypellas I planted for you when you were away, the ones throwing a yellow flower, you know; the ones you showed me Yesterday.

Gary.

» Gary - please don't execute me .......................

Hi Liz,
if I'm going to be hung, I might as well ask now, before you execute me, lol.
Are you going to functionally become Forest Bulbs, seeming you registered this business name? !!

Reading the various post this morning, yes, we slept in, but got hardly any sleep last night because of Natures thunderous display last night.

Folks only know what you tell them, I know you and that you are focused and serious about your bulbs, but it does have to come across in your posts, for the rest of the world to know this also.

Don't rush your thoughts, just post you intentions; please don't execute me for this Liz, a dead Gary can't help you in your garden, smile.

Gary, asking that your reply is typed with love in your heart.
