» nana_for_chrissy - oh I can relate I just read your concerns, and since I am now 54 and my husband is 20 years younger, I could sense your concern and very much relate. But I dealt with this all about 4 years ago, and I want to tell you, just enjoy each and every minute you have, none of us no matter what our age are guaranteed a tomorrow, and realizing that I also realized I was wasting precious time with the thoughts I was having. My husband too, loves me dearly, and thinks I am beautiful no matter what my mirror may tell me, and I like his take on things so much better. So get up each day and thank God for the love you have, as so many people go through their whole lives and never find it at any age, as I thought I was going to be one of those, yet for the past 14 years I have had the love of a wonderful man, that just happens to be younger than I. So live, love and enjoy and forget your age as well as his, and just enjoy each other for as long as you have, and may that be for many many years to come.-- posted by nana_for_chrissy » anyea - I am not unique I, too, am involved in an age-difference relationship. My fiance and I have a 21 year age difference - I am 42 and he is 21. When we met and started dating, neither of us knew how old the other was; nor did we care.Instead, we saw our soulmate in one another. Less than a week after we met, we were living together - and knew that we had found the one we had been searching for. I would not want it any other way!! Don't get me wrong - it bothers me when people assume I am his mother (even though most people I meet think I am barely in my thirties). And that the majority of his family does not agree with our relationship. I know, however, that we are both exactly where we are supposed to be, and we are willing to continue to work on anything that may come up. Mostly, we know that we have been blessed to find one another, and that is the thing that we keep foremost in our minds. May God Bless all of you! -- posted by anyea » RMJ04 - Re: oh I can relate In response to oh I can relate posted by nana_for_chrissy:if nana_for_chrissy is still a member of suite101.com i would love to know -- posted by RMJ04
