» NIkkiCu - Depression and Adolesence I have a 13 year old son who seems to be exhibiting many of the traits of depression. I am one of those who feel a lot of it is a decision one makes or chooses. Because of this I have a hard time accepting that he can not "snap" out of it. I wonder how much is just pre-teen growing pains that he will grow out of and how much is an act and how much is a way of him reaching out to me and asking for help?-- posted by NIkkiCu
