» msaraann - Protein Balance

This article touched on several issues around protein consumption that interest me. Meat is not the only protein. Too much meat is not healthy. Natural foods are safer than supplements. Very importantly, too much protein causes calcium loss. That means too much milk (animal protein) causes calcium loss and can lead to osteoporosis -- the very disorder the dairy industry claims it prevents. Many people don't know that animal protein can lead to osteoporosis.
