RAD questions
This archived discussion is "read only".
» eurocrat_au - Comprehensive list Dear Susan,This is a very good list of questions for people to ask when they think their kid or someone they are going to adopt has reactive attachment disorder. They would definitely scare the bejezzus of social workers. As a geopolitical psychologist (which is a very different league!) there are two questions that disturb me, and both of them are the "peers" questions. You can't expect that a person's peers will be white bread Anglo-Saxon, you've got to think of kids that are more like them. Too many people have a perfection threshold in thinking about human development, which would possibly preclude any proper understanding of RAD or other disorders. The questions, in general, are sufficiently open-ended and doused with experience. People can learn quite a lot from those questions-sometimes things they don't want to know!
