» lifewiththetwins - Organization

Valerie,
Can you tell me some of the ways you became organized. I need to work on this with my son. I would like to make a board game or card game to teach him these skills in a non threatening manner. He is intensely fearful of forgetting things for school like library books and dates of tests. What worked for you?
Thanks.
Lori

» jst123 - help to be organized

I totally understand your feelings. When I was in college I found out that I was ADD. I had a hard time learning to reorganize (which in all honesty was zero)everything. I am a person who gets bored fast and now back in school again I still use this: I write out a list of 5 things to do I use different highlighters and pen colors to make it fun. Example: questions-blue, terms-pink, essay-red. This makes it more fun and it was in the end more organized even when it became your to do & remember list. Good luck!! It does take some time though! Oh, talk to the teacher I bet she would o.k. this idea.
