» suehuntzinger - I missed it!

I SOOOOOO wish I'd found this project before Christmas. My own fault! I work with at-risk kids, fifth-graders, and am always trying to find ideas to help them look outside of themselves and gain some compassion! Sigh! Next year!

In response to message posted by suehuntzinger:

Try it with a different theme, Sue! They could do a new year's resolution chain... or for valentines a love theme... or for St. Patty's Day... or mother's day... father's day... 4th of July... on and on smile Or y'all could do a random acts of kindness chain or a "dream" chain where every put their dreams of how they'd like the world to be. The possibilities are endless. And congratulations on the wonderful work you're doing!

Love & Hugs,
Dar

In response to message posted by suehuntzinger:

Sue we are going to do it for an Art In The Park Day!
Draw an animal. We are teaching the kids about the environment and endangered species.
It is a pretty versatile activitiy.
Sounds like we have a lot in common!
