Nope - not yet Ken! -- posted by Jo Murphy » poetnwriter - Re: Lorikeet - not finished! In response to message posted by brisbaneartist:Jo I remember you telling me that this was a simple mosaic and would only take a short while to do. I guess it has grown quite a bit from its original concept and has taken on a life of its own. I definitely want to see it when I get up there..that's a date ok? I see what you mean about how they are made in pieces....you could have made a koalikeet or a loriala...that is if you joined up the wrong pieces... Post a final pic when it is finished. In response to message posted by brisbaneartist:"May I quote you" Of course..I give the idea to you free of charge Use a jigsaw of many animal/bird parts that can alternatively fit together and get the kids to create their own animals in the jungle...they create and name them and you could post pics as well.

Will be up in Brissie for 16th and 17th July and will look forward to visiting this landmark mosaic. From the images I can see that the children of the school and those that pass by will love it. So what's next then? Did you ever write that article on that wonderful children's playland at the Mater Hospital? It sure was a fun place that held wonders and delight wherever you looked. Hope to be able to talk to you about Geraldine as she is "calling" in her shrill voice to all the children of the World. catch ya Kenya -- posted by poetnwriter » poetnwriter - Re: We Certainly In response to message posted by brisbaneartist:Great Jo, I am looking forward to it. So are you working towards a doctorate in wall mosaics...would that be "wallology" or "mosaiology". If it were possible you would probably take on doing a mosaic on the great wall of China...now that woulod take several lifetimes. Ken -- posted by poetnwriter

In response to message posted by brisbaneartist:So is that a physical challenge Ms Murphy. You do the GWofC whilst I write about our friend Geraldine? Nah..think of all that chinese food you would have to eat for the rest of your life...although it probably beats giraffe meat. What is this wafting and lingering stuff and the subtle sunset? Leave the poetry to me otherwise there will be nothing for me to do. You should have posted a pic of a Straddie sunset to go with the words. Simply Relative Allen signing off for now. -- posted by poetnwriter
