Thanks for posting the lists!

I've only had the chance to see a few of the new big films, but the ones I have seen have been great: Far From Heaven, Chicago, 25th Hour. . .

I hear some buzz going around about Edward Norton in 25th Hour. Once again, he's turned in another brilliant performance. Perhaps he's a longshot for the Oscar? He's certainly respected and has turned in consistently great performances.

I loved Chicago, but I'm surprised to see it placing so high on so many lists. It is great, though.

And I have to say I was a bit disappointed in Far From Heaven. I guess my expectations were elevated because I'd heard so many great things about it. Julianne Moore was brilliant (par for the course), and I do think she gave the best performance of the year. Both men were terrific, too. The art direction was simply beautiful. But I felt there was something missing from the film, and it had me questioning why it needed to be made now. I didn't see anything new or different in the story. Maybe it's because I've lived it. I don't know. It's definitely a great film, though.
