» Jaynee - My own top ten...

Well, I don't agree at all with many of your choices for best film of 1999. So I thought I would write down my own favorites (in alphabetical order)...

An Ideal Husband
Arlington Road
Cider House Rules
Dick
The Green Mile
Mansfield Park
Run Lola Run
The Sixth Sense
Toy Story 2

And a couple movies I haven't seen yet but look forward to seeing and will surely love: The Hurricane and Topsy-Turvy.

I think "Run Lola Run" should win for Best Foreign Film, if it isn't nominated for Best Picture. This was without a doubt my FAVORITE of the year, hands down.

My "guilty" favorites (truly commercial films) were "Never Been Kissed" and "Big Daddy".

The WORST films I saw in 1999 were "Fight Club" (an abomination to film making) and "The Matrix" (a stupid story with good effects).
