He keeps his faith and prays to God to save him. A rescue helicopter finds him and throws out a life preserver, but the man throws it back saying "God will provide". Hours later, a ship comes across the man, and throws out a life perserver, but the man throws it back saying "God will provide". Hours later, a submarine surfaces and carries the man out of the water. The man jumps back into the water saying "God will provide". The man dies and goes to Heaven. He asks God, "Why didn't you save me?" God's reply was, "I sent you a helicopter, a ship, and a submarine. Why didn't you accept the help I offered?" Just because you believe that God will help you with your fertility issue, don't be so sure that seeking medical assistance is not Gods way of helping you. If I recall, there is a passage in the Bible that says something similar to "God helps those that help themselves." That is what you need to do - help yourself so God can help you. I personally would strongly suggest that you seek the assistance of an RE (Reproductive Endocrinologist) who will be able to perform the needed medical testing to fully diagnose and treat your fertility issue. Due to your age (I'm getting up there in years too), having one ovary (functioning I am assuming), and apparently dealing with luteal phase problems, an RE might be your best bet for a pregnancy. Don't forget to have your spouse checked as well. About 40% of the time the fertility problem is with the man, 40% it is with the woman, and about 10% of the time it is a combined problem of both the man and the woman. In about 10% of cases, there is no known reason for the fertility problem, or the problem cannot be diagnosed medically. Do not allow your religious beliefs to block any avenues of help that are available to you. -- posted by ttcweb
