In response to help-any info on luteal phase defect please posted by kellyinbama:

Before you start to think that this could be a luteal phase defect, how long are your cycles? Are you charting so you know "for sure" when you are ovulating?

You might be ovulating later in your cycle than you think, as when I ovulate, I feel pain (usually on one side) and sometimes I also get a bit nauseated too.

Give me more information please (cycle length in days, if you are charting or not, length of period, number of days that you spot before or after your period, and if you spot when you feel the pain/experience nausea). The more information you can provide the better able I will be to point you in the right direction.
