Hey, Michele!Just read your article featuring RATT & wanted to respond. I saw the band in concert on their 'Out of the Cellar' Tour. It was in Davenport, IA in a small club. They didn't rate big arenas yet. I got to within 2 feet of the band. Between the stage & the crowd was a space of 2 feet. It was Fabulous!! I saw them again about 6 months later on the same tour in a bigger arena. Mama's Boyz opened for them. I actually met Mama's Boyz that night. Anyway, RATT were on their way. I saw them again on their 'Invasion of Your Privacy' Tour. This time they rated a regular arena. It was great!!
I was sorry to hear that Juan isn't with the band anymore. He was my favorite... SOOO SEXY!!
My favorite track off 'Invasion of Your Privacy' is "You Should Know By Now". Total Rock Anthem!
Anyways, just relating my RATT experiences with you. Hope you enjoy!

I just got done watching the "VH1, Where are they now" with Poison as the subject. O.K., this is all fine and dandy, I always liked Poison and this message has nothing to do with them, there was a comment by a RATT member in the show where he was referring to the Bret Michaels and Pamela Anderson sex video that was released and a RATT member said "Oh well, at least it wasn't with some girl from South Dakota with 2 teeth" what a complete rude and un-intellectual schmuck!! I was born and raised in South Dakota, and I don't know anybody that has 2 teeth, I myself have ALL of my teeth and am a very well educated person, so therefore I have a VERY good job, just because they are a buch of washed up musicians who have nothing to fall back on except for the thought that maybe VH1 will do a special on them and then people will remember them and go buy one of their albums-LOSERS, all of them. Get a life and get on with the fact that you are NOT a babe anymore and that-yes-your music does suck and it always did, the only reason people listened to it was because they were still in High School and had nothing better to do, we've moved on, why can't you?Yes, I'm bitter, I can't believe that someone who has taken a serious fall and no one will take them seriously as musicians, would actually take a punch at a whole state of women just to get a little satisfaction. I will go tomorrow and trade my RATT cd's (not that I'll get jack shit for them, but as long as their out of my house, good ridance).
Pissed off, born and raised in South Dakota, now living in Oregon and standing up for the state.

» MyMuse - VH1 BTM w/Poison
I haven't completely watched the Poison BTM, but I watched a good portion of it.I was a little disappointed with the "Dakota 2 teeth" statement as well as several others, seemed rather crass, but this is also the nature of the bands. There are not exactly a suave bunch.
Saying that, I attended the Poison-RATT concert (also saw that Poison used to open for RATT and now it is the other way around..), I was wondering what the holy heck happened to Stephen's voice? I could barely distinguish the songs! How very disappointing was that?! Out of all of them, I could barely sing along to 2 of them. I thought at one point he was lip synching....weird!
