I contacted a starcraft dealership just after I bought it and they said you can't get one. I took my trailer to a "fix anything" guy and he got the wires hooked up right. (the guy who had it before me tried to fix it) Furnace works great too! -- posted by schutte37 » schutte37 - Awning for an '83 starcraft. In response to Awning for an '83 starcraft. posted by tjguan:

It's 3 years later and it still works great. -- posted by CATHY197615 » PrairieBoy - Pulling problems with our pop-up What type of trailer are you pulling (year, make, model, trailer weight, tongue weight, etc)and what type of tow vehicle. It is important to note that not all trailers are compatible with sway bars. I've pulled a 76 StarCraft (2400Lbs/150Lbs tongue) with sway bars with my 97 Caravan and my 79 Bonair(2000Lbs/80lb tongue without swaybars without any problem. Swaybars can't be used on the Bonair because of the braking system used.It is important to have the tow vehicle and the trailer level and when loading the trailer to put the heavy items over the axle and lighter items to the front. I've heard of people putting bike racks on the rear of their tent trailers and having the same problems as you are having, and everything is good when they take the bikes off. If you continue to have problems try moving your heavier items forward inside the trailer. What is the tongue weight of your loaded trailer. If it is too light you will have problems. Hope this helps.
