» Renie_Burghardt - Grooming Hi Chris, I have a friend who has a shih-tzu. I will print this article out for her. I know she'll get much out of it. Thank you for all the great tips. Hope you are doing well, Chris!-- posted by Renie_Burghardt » souldog9 - I need some help in groming my Lhasa Apso. I need some help in groming my Lhasa Apso. Not a show dog.About a year ago I started groming our dog PUP. He had knots that I cut out, and now his hair seems to grow back in knots. Please can you give me some advice? -- posted by souldog9 » souldog9 - Teddy Bear cut Hi, I was wondering if you found the vidio you were looking for? I have never heard of a Teddy Bear cut. Maybe you could inlighten me on this cut. It sounds cute. What color is your Lhaso? Our's is white, honey, and tan. We adopted him,and his name is Pup. He is a wonderful dog. I started groming him myself about a year ago, after we got a Cocker Spanial, which was a hudge mistake. She has so many problems and the vet bill skyrocketed. That is why I am learning to groom our dogs myself. -- posted by souldog9 » Fanny - Re: Teddy Bear cut In response to message posted by souldog9:Keeping knots form your dog's coat requires hairbrushing daily, coupled with keeping his hair clean and conditioned. Short clips are helpful, but constant care is key. Having two dogs with long hair can be costly at the groomers, however if you do the math you will see to get the eqiptment and achieve the same results is actually cheaper to let a groomer do the job. Tackling home grooming is not impossible though, and you and your dog will gain more confidense with each session. good luck and check out the various artcles on which clip would suit your needs best in the link "articles" posted above. -- posted by Fanny » Unoking - Re: Teddy Bear cut In response to message posted by souldog9:I have video for sale purchased directly from Amazon.com that shows good direction on groominLhasasApsoso..I too am grooming my own..Once viewed and practiced..video can be sold over and over..If interested..Video is new.. -- posted by Unoking
