Finally getting all this out in the open may be healing but this decade is fast turning into a real bummer.

What is shocking is that they haven't voluntarily cleaned up their organizations as their Christ would expect them to do.
The Mormons? Given their past history of treating women as chattel, why would any one be surprised?

NBC DATELINE made mention of the Catholic Church and how it is now taking the lead to cleanse the organization , but the JW,s have been saying "it never happens to us , because we are Gods pure organization".I had some of them telling me how they are the happies people on earth with the highest morals of all churches....then I informed them in the USA JW,s are involved in over 50% of all child custody cases.They have a 4-1 national average for mental illness(due to stress)...knock knock... who,s there?-- posted by rm4jw

Is it possible that these groups all have something in common? They all have worldwide headquarters where one guy or one small group dominates the message and the folks. Does that really work in any type of healthy religion?-- posted by BrotherJones

Oh, this is a good one. How about Jesus Christ the Word made flesh and His Father and the Comforter they sent to be the Paraclete? Can't be anything wrong with that.
And yes it does work in a healthy religion. It just doesn't work in all the unhealthy ones. Those of the world church. All of which are colossal failures and mocked endlessly.

a pair of JWs came by the house just last sat. They sat in the drive in thier Mercedes and watched my Black Lab amble around the car with her tail wagging like mad. Finally I relieved them of their discomfort and walked out ot their car and called the dog over. The guy got out and asked me if I wasn't worried about nuclear holocaust while he tried to push a tract featuring a mushroom cloud on me. I simply said nope and turned and walked off.I can't believe these clowns can't be more creative. I mean the idiots have been using that ploy the last three or 5 times they have stopped. (Oh about every year or two) I'm sorry.... i don't sit around and worry about nukes. I trust that if the Lord thinks its time for a fiery end then he knows what he is doing. These clowns couldn't even trust their lord enough to get out of their car and greet my dog.... who's about as threatening as a marshmallow.
The only thing I can't figure out is why they don't bug my Mennonite neighbors across the road? I mean their house looks as normal as mine? Well, maybe my place does look like it was nuked.
