Hi Red. You need to visit us. A Holden utility car. The kelpie is a working man's dog and it usually rides in the back tray of the ute, unrestrained. The Esky is a container to keep the beer cold and can be a cheap foam one, for a six pack only or good quality, fully insulated one. If you are going on a picnic with the family, it's pretty silly to put too much food in an esky if you don't have a second one for the grog.

If you can picture a small town, unsealed dirt corrugated road, the ute bouncing up and down kicking up dust, the kelpie running back and forth barking at things, aaahh, it takes me back to a much simpler life...

Hi tiger. We don't all drink Fosters. VB's pretty popular with my family and I like Crown. Your homework for tonight is to pronounce Aussie correctly. Yankees say the softer 'OSSIE' but it's OZZIE. Altho we did apreciate it when you barracked for us (or is that rooted) at the Olympics - with A-U-S, A-U-S, over and over again.

Hi plox. In fact, Christmas in July is getting pretty popular here where the big traditional feasts can be handled better over a log fire and winter's frosty nip in the beautiful Blue Mountains about an hour away.

I must apologise to the kelpie where I understated them. They are a highly intelligent hardworking dog, the backbone of our sheep industry rather than simply the pet of the working man. One offended kelpie:

Does that puppy have blue eyes or is it the picture? How big do they get? It looks so much like a German Sheperd puppy I just wondered, but I thought only huskies have blue eyes.

And don't p-o the dog. They have ways of getting even that often occur when it is least convenient. hahaha

Hi again, Tiger. The details are in the Forum topic number 2436 'Little Animations' and have been repeated a few times thru Forum. Come back if any problems.

The Holden ute and kelpie are Aussie icons and there are innumerable websites. Right click on pictures you see and save them - I save to 'My Pictures'. While I'm at it, here's our very first Holden ute, the ute celebrating 50 years this year:

A fair dinkum paddock basher and was great for rounding up sheep. Our sheep are not wimps, they remain in the fields on Christmas night, and all year round - to refer to another post.
