The Amherst Poltergeist, Human Agent or Demonic Entity?

The year was 1878 when psychic phenomena, psi, invaded the lives of the Teed family who lived in Amherst, Nova Scotia in a crowded two story cottage. The family that was plagued by mysterious and terrifying events was the Teed family, Daniel, wife Olive, two young sons, George and Willie, Jennie and Esther Cox, Olives sisters, Olive’s brother, William and Daniel’s brother, John. The poltergeist called itself Bob, and, one night, etched on a wall, “Esther Cox, you are mine to kill!” It has been said that there was a man named Bob MacNeal who had tried to force himself on her, but was unsuccessful. Shortly after this incident, he disappeared. Esther was the focus of this horror and was 19 at the time. Was she the agent or the primary victim or both?
