Introduction

Finally, you graduated high school and got accepted to College. This transition will prove to be more drastic than you would have imagined and your freshman year is probably one of the most exciting times of your life.

To make sure you are going to come out of it ok as well socially as academically you have to make sure you are prepared.

Freshmen year is more than anything a battle of the fittest, and this course will act as a personal trainer so that you can make sure you are in top shape to run that marathon.

Many students drop out of college every year, just because they are so overwhelmed and have no clue where to go when things don’t go smoothly right away. This course is meant to prepare you to deal with the roadblocks you will surely face on your way, not just in first year, but in every year. Keep in mind that your first year in college will mark the rest of your life and can make or break your career. How you will grow will determine a lot down the road and is just as important as it is for an athlete to win a world championship in order to make it to the Olympics. If they get the best trainers to get ready, when so should you!

Don’t learn it the hard way, make use of the knowledge someone else can give you. This course covers everything you need to know; from parties to exam stress and possibly living on your own for the first time.

The course is jam-packed with info that can save you time, money, and frustration. Many drop out of first year unnecessarily due to being unprepared. If you are already a freshman and feel you are overwhelmed, this course can help you too!

The objectives will be helpful to determine if this course is right for you, although I can say for sure, if you are going to be a freshman soon, that is definitely the case. I will be your personal tour guide/trainer and instructor guiding you through the rough spots in your first year. Remember that everything you learn in first year you will continue to use in subsequent years and the rest of your life. It is important to lay this foundation, so you will build a fulfilling career early on.

Going to college is not all about going to class and attending parties. It is much more than that, which is not published in brochures or displayed in movies. It is beyond frustrating to be forced to change majors because you did not do things right right-away. It is just as frustrating to find out in your last years about opportunities you plainly missed out on.

There are no courses offered in college on “what to do once being accepted to college”, while it is such a big transition in life it should be mandatory. That is where this course comes in; after completion you will have more knowledge than most students in their senior years do and the ability to jumpstart your academic and social life so you get the most out of it. Right away!
