As a mother, daughter, aunt, niece, and granddaughter, I have planned and been on many family vacations. In my mind, family travel is the best type of holiday. Nothing is better than spending and sharing time with those you love.

Nonetheless, planning a family vacation can be challenging. Planning a holiday that every member of your family enjoys can be quite difficult. Furthermore, the issues and types of activities possible vary greatly depending upon your particular family type. Family types include groups with babies, toddlers, children, teenagers, adults, seniors, pets, or multigenerational groups.
