Some of the 50 top-paying jobs include doctors, lawyers and business executives, though anyone reading the list might be surprised at some of the top jobs that are appearing along side the doctors. To get a perspective of what the top paying jobs are like takes a comparison of the pay rates and salaries, how to get such jobs, and a few other details. Examples of Top 50 JobsThe top five paying jobs, according to resources, include Anesthesiologists, Chief Executives, Family and General Practitioners, Internists, Obstetricians and Gynecologists. What was predictable was that doctors and executives would be near the top of the list, because they have the most valuable skills, require high degrees of education in order to succeed, and so on. Outside of the various types of doctors and people associated with the health industry, as they take up the majority of top paying jobs, the other jobs include the following: lawyers, scientists, managers, software engineers, astronomers, air pilots and air traffic controllers. Some of these career paths don't not require a degree from college. Top SalariesOut of the list of 50 top-paying jobs, the top five, according to different lists, $145,000+ per year. That's about $70.00 an hour. On the lower end of the top 50 list, the jobs pay about $85,000 a year. That's about $40.00 an hour. It's a difference of $30.00 an hour more from the bottom of the list to the top. Jobs That Don't Require a DegreeSome may think that all of these jobs might be impossible to get as some do require a degree from a school. Some of the top paying jobs do not require a college degree. An air traffic controller, which is usually ranked in the mid-teen area of different lists, makes an average of $54.00 an hour, and one would only need to enroll in a course provided by the Federal Aviation Administration and pass a test. Managers make around $38.00 an hour. Many people may get a job as a manager by earning an assistant manager position and working up through a company. In many cases, a degree is not required to do this. After working in a store, or in an office long enough, and doing a great job, promotion is inevitable. Health care, which highly dominates the list, has an expected growth rate of 18%-35% within the next 10 years.
